Internal Quality Assurance cell


The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Taiyab Memorial Teachers’ is established in accordance with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) guidelines.


The primary objective of the IQAC is to promote a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the institution’s academic and administrative functioning. Specifically, the IQAC aims to:

  • Develop a comprehensive quality policy aligned with the institution’s vision and mission.
  • Monitor and evaluate the internal quality assurance processes through established methods.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses in various academic and administrative areas.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in teaching, learning, research, infrastructure, and student support services.
  • Organize workshops and seminars on quality-related themes for faculty development and staff capacity building.
  • Prepare the Self-Study Report (SSR) for NAAC accreditation and other quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Disseminate information on various quality parameters and best practices within the institution.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni) on quality-related issues.
  • Meetings: The IQAC will meet quarterly to discuss quality-related matters, review reports, and plan future initiatives.
  • Sub-committees: The IQAC may establish sub-committees to focus on specific areas like teaching-learning, research, infrastructure, etc.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: The IQAC will collect data from various sources (surveys, student feedback, faculty performance reports) to assess the institution’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting: The IQAC will maintain detailed records of its activities, reports, and recommendations. It will also submit annual reports to the institution’s management and relevant authorities.
  • Action Plans: Based on its evaluations, the IQAC will develop action plans with specific goals, timelines, and responsible parties for implementing improvements.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: The IQAC will collaborate with existing academic and administrative committees to ensure a coordinated approach to quality enhancement initiatives.
